CAT Exam consists of 3 subjects (or sections):
CAT 2015, CAT 2016, CAT 2017, and CAT 2018 had the same number of questions. It is safe to assume that the same pattern will get repeated in CAT 2019 as well. There is a small chance of CAT changing its pattern this year but it is highly unlikely. Even if that happens, it will be declared well in advance.
A total number of questions in the CAT exam is 100. As far as the number of questions is concerned, the break-up subjects in the CAT exam is given below:
• CAT exam is a 3-hour test. A student is allowed a total of 1 hour per section/subject in the CAT exam. If the student does not submit in the stipulated 1 hour, the answers get submitted automatically. If the student submits it before the stipulated 1 hour, he/she is not allowed to move to the next section or leave the examination hall.
