SNAP Results 2017 and SIBM SCMHRD SIIB College Cutoffs

SNAP results 2017 were declared a little while ago. You can check them by filling out your details below. To be honest, SNAP results 2017 were a little bit surprising. A score of 99 has been achieved at a score of 62. It was expected to be much higher than that.

SNAP Results are the first results for the MBA Aspirants this year. IIFT results should also be declared in a day or two. But let me add – you should not be elated after seeing your SNAP results. You should not be depressed after seeing your SNAP results. Do keep in mind that XAT is 10 days away. You should focus all your energy on XAT exam instead of the SNAP Results. I am assuming that most of the MBA aspirant who tried their hand at SNAP will be trying their hand at XAT as well. On the other hand, if you are not one of those MBA aspirants – probably SNAP results have given you a good reason to party. Don’t forget to invite me to it.

SNAP Results: College Cutoffs via SNAP 2017

If you are a serious aspirant, there are probably only two colleges that you should consider via SNAP 2017. Those two are:
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune SIBM
Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Pune SCMHRD
The other colleges are frankly not worth it for serious aspirants/people who are already working with salaries more than 5 LPA. There are better options available via other exams. The other two colleges that you can consider if you HAVE to do an MBA this year are:
SIBM Bangalore and Symbiosis Institute Of International Business (SIIB), Pune.

The cutoffs for general category students in these colleges over the last few years have remained in the range given below:

SIBM, Pune cutoff would be around 97-98 %ile
SCMHRD, Pune cutoff would be around 96-97 %ile
SIBM, Bangalore cutoff would be around 87-90 %ile
SIIB, Pune cutoff would be around 85-87 %ile

Should you try for CAT 2018?

To be honest, if you are looking for any other colleges via SNAP – I would recommend that you don’t
Ask yourself the following questions and based on that decide whether you should join one of these colleges or not.
1. Is this my only option? (If you have a full-time job or if you can get a shitty full-time job, answer NO)
2. Have I given MY 100% in preparation this time? (Not a theoretical 100% but YOUR 100%. Please try and understand the difference.)
3. Was this my 2nd / 3rd serious attempt? (If you studied for more than 2 hours a day for 2 months or more – it is a serious attempt)
You should join one of these colleges if and only if your answer is YES to all of the above questions. If not, you should seriously think about giving it another shot.
