IIFT 2017 – Exam Notification, Important Dates, Process to Apply

Admission to MBA(IB) 2018-20 at New Delhi, Kolkata & Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh)

  1. ELIGIBILITY
  • Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with 50% marks in Graduation (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Candidate appearing in the final year examination of Graduation can also apply.
  • No age limit.
  1. RESERVATION   

Seats are reserved as per Government of India rules. The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under different categories. 

  1. MODE OF ADMISSION 

(i) For General/ Reserved Category candidates

Selection will be on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Writing Skill Assessment and Interview. Written Test will be held on SUNDAY 26th November 2017 during 10.00AM – 12.00Noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. Based on the marks of Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Writing Skill Assessment and Interview to be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. IIFT reserves the right to add/delete any centre, if required.

(ii) For Foreign Nationals and NRIs

Seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals, NRIs and the admission is considered on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score and interview.

 Last date to apply online:  Friday, 8th September 2017
 Last date to apply online and submit GMAT score for Foreign Nationals and NRIs:  Thursday, 15th February 2018
 Written Examination:  Sunday, 26th November 2017

How to apply for IIFT 2017 Exam

Register Online :

Click on “Apply Now” and choose the category under which you want to apply.

Fill in the basic details required for registration and submit the form.

Once submitted, Application number will be generated and intimated through an email sent to the registered email id.

Log in to the website using the Application No. mentioned in the email and Password entered by you while registering.

Follow the links to complete the registration process.

Once completed, the intimation regarding successful registration will be sent to the registered email id.

  :   1550/-
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates
  :   775/-
  • Foreign National/NRI candidates
  :  US$ 80 (INR  4500)

Online Payment Gateway – Through Credit/Debit Cards (VISA/Master)

Mode 2
Demand Draft – Applicant has to get a DD made in favour of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE, payable at NEW DELHI, since the candidate is required to fill in the details of the Demand Draft in the online application form.

Upload your scanned photograph and signature in .jpg / .jpeg format only (file size not more than 50kb each). Click here for the process of uploading the photograph and signature

Once online process is complete, keep a print-out of the filled-in application form for your own record.

Please ensure that you have successfully logged out of the website after completion of the registration process.

Last date to fill the application form :

  • For General/SC/ST/PWD/OBC(NCL) : 8th September 2017
  • For Foreign National and NRI : 15th February 2018

    sir, i have mistakenly update wrong percentage during registration . can i have option of editing now. i have already paid reg fee.
