IBPS PO Exam Preparation – Important Dates

The notification of IBPS PO 2019 exam has been released. While there has been a significant change in pattern from previous years with the introduction of a prelims paper. After the prelims, there will be a mains exam. Based upon the performance in the mains, candidates will be called for an interview. Depending upon the performance in the mains exam and the interview, provisional allotment will be made. Please go through the tentative dates/schedule of events given below to understand that process better.

Important Dates for IBPS PO 2019 Exam

Registration Starts 10th July tentative
Registration Ends 1st August tentative
Do not leave the registration process till the last date. SBI PO Mains exam is on the same date and in case you are writing SBI PO Mains as well, you should not have unnecessary pressure on your head.
The fees for the exam will have to be paid online during the dates mentioned above. Any editing / modifications should also occur during the same period mentioned above.
Call letters for Prelims 23rd September onwards

IBPS PO Prelims Exam will be conducted on 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th October tentative

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Results will be declared some time in October. While the exact date is not declared, it should happen around 20th October.
Call letters for IBPS PO Mains will be available after IBPS PO Prelims Exam results are declared. It would be fair to assume that they would be released as soon as the results of IBPS PO Prelims Exam are declared. This should also happen around 20th October.

IBPS PO Mains Exam will be conducted on 31st October

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Results will be declared some time in November.
Call letters for interview will be given out some time in December.
Interviews will be conducted some time in January.
Provisional Allotment will take place some time in April.
