There are no restrictions on the number of times you can attempt the CAT exam.
The first time you can attempt the CAT exam is when you are in your final year of graduation. Post that, there is no limit. Technically, you can attempt CAT every year till you are alive. As a matter of fact, there are plenty of teachers who attempt the CAT exam. If I remember correctly, Sandeep Sir from Indore has written CAT every year since the mid-90s. There are also CEOs who attempt CAT exam well past the age of 50 just to keep their mind sharp.
Hopefully, you will only need to attempt the CAT once. But if you are unlucky, remember – there is always a next time for CAT.
