Important Topics from Current Affairs for General Knowledge Preparation

Mergers and Acquisitions

In this blog post we cover Mergers and Acquisition activity from this decade. This list is focused more on Mergers from 2017 and 2016 because the chances of questions being asked on recent events are a lot higher.

Along with IIFT GK, these questions are also popular in exams like SNAP and XAT.

Books and Authors

Questions on books and authors are very popular with entrance examinations. IIFT, in particular, has a question in tabular format in which the student is supposed to match the author with the book. More often than not, the books about which questions get asked are related to business or biographical sketches of the famous businessmen.

Heads of Important Organizations

In this post we cover heads of important organizations of India and around the world. Questions on this topic have been asked quite frequently in the IIFT GK section. Typically, the questions are based on either recent changes or are asked in the Match the Following format.

Ans: No. General Knowledge as a topic is kind of endless. There is no start or end to it. The updates are more frequent close to the exam.

Q6. When is the right time to start preparation for General Knowledge?

Ans: Now If you are someone who reads business newspapers and business magazines regularly, you don’t really need to sit down and prepare for GK for MBA Entrance Exams.
