Slot – 3 – Quantitative Aptitude – Equation – How many of the integers 1, 2
Q. How many of the integers 1, 2, … , 120, are divisible by none of 2, 5 and 7?
42
40
41
43
Answer: 41
Solution:
No of integers divisible by 2 = 120/2 =60
No of integers divisible by 5 = 120/5 = 24
No of integers divisible by 7 = [120/2] =17
No of integers divisible by 2 and 5 = 120/10 =12
No of integers divisible by 2 and 7 = [ 120/14 ] =8
No of integers divisible by 5 and 7 = [120/35 ] =3
No of integers divisible by 2 , 5 and 7 = [120/70]= 1
So numbers divisible by 2, 5 or 7 = 60+24+17 – 12 – 8 – 3 + 1 = 79
So numbers divisible by none = 120 – 79 = 41
