A) 13600
B) 13000
C) 13400
D) 14000
Answer
Option (B)
Solution
From CAT 2017 – Quantitative Aptitude – Arithmetic – Percentages, we can see that,
No of shirts = n
Defective shirts = 0.15n
Remaining shirts = 0.85n
Sold in domestic market = 0.2 * 0.85 n
Export = 0.8 * 0.85n = 0.68n = 8840
n=13000
