These three mixtures of A, B, and C, respectively, are further mixed in the proportion 4:3:2. Then the resulting mixture has

From CAT 2017 – Quantitative Aptitude – Arithmetic – Mixtures, we can see that,
Ratio of water in 1st mixture = 1/3
Ratio of A in 1st mixture = 2/3
Ratio of water in 2nd mixture = 1/4
Ratio of B in 2nd mixture = 3/4
Ratio of water in 3rd mixture = 1/5
Ratio of C in 3rd mixture = 4/5
The mixtures are divided in the ratio 4:3:2
So, water according to this composition = 4/9 * 1/3 + 3/9 * 1/4 + 2/9 * 1/5 = 149/540 = 0.27
Solution A in the composition = 4/9 * 2/3 = 8/27 = 0.29
Solution B in the composition = 3/9 * 3/4 = 9/36 = 0.25
Solution C in the composition = 2/9 * 4/5 = 8/45 = 0.17
We can see that Option C is correct
